Melanie Errico is a New York City transplant who now resides in the Philadelphia area. She has over 10 years of fashion industry experience and a B.S. in Fiber Science and Apparel Design from Cornell University. Beginning her career as a 19 year old intern, she designed for New York Fashion Week under the guidance of Cynthia Rowley. Melanie was always determined to work in small firms, to have the advantage of knowing the development process intimately and the skill to see her products through all the development phases.
This made her highly successful as a designer at Free People, and her work graced their pages for two years before starting her own business and designing for ethical fashion brand Raven & Lily as well as creating concept jewelry for Urban Outfitters, Anthropologie, and Free People.
Melanie has launched her own independent jewelry collection, Siren, which she sees as an ode to beautiful women who embody the mysterious powers of the ancient Greek mythological figures. Siren reimagines timeless pieces in a modern and sensual way. The collection features components from around the world, including authentic Ethiopian silver beads, Tuareg pendants, unusual vintage components, and powerful crystals.
