MFA in Painting from the University at Albany, SUNY. I also have experience as a college professor, museum installer, and fabricator in an art foundry.

Impossible to pick! Leon Golub, Francis Bacon, Anselm Kiefer, Edgar Degas

 

FAVORITE ARTIST/WORKS OF ART, SLATE GRAY: 

Although I’m not usually focused on abstraction, I’m really fascinated by the work of Lisa Pressman. Her work seems to be the result of a disciplined process of introspection and experimentation. Like all great art, it’s not principally about aesthetics, and the end result is unknowable ahead of time.
