Born in Chicago, Loree was raised on a heavy diet of æsthetics. Her passion for making jewelry landed her Elizabeth Taylor as her first client. Since those early days, Rodkin has gone on to design intricate pieces for such icons as Madonna, Steven Tyler, Elton John, Cher, and countless others. She also had the honor of designing First Lady Michelle Obama’s inaugural jewelry; those pieces now reside in the Smithsonian’s permanent collection.Rodkin’s attention to detail is what you notice first in her handmade couture pieces. Her unique use of diamonds, platinum, gold and precious stones are inspired by her world travels.Today, many of Loree’s forward-thinking designs encompass her growing fine jewelry business empire that has expanded to fragrance and handbags.
